It began in 1987 when I joined the staff as the Preschool Teacher, and three years later, became the Executive Director until my retirement in 2020. My daughter attended Primavera through her elementary years, and now my two grandchildren are following in her footsteps. Primavera has consistently provided generations of students a superior academic education, a supportive and loving community of teachers, parents, and students, and a magical, experiential outdoor environment that promotes health and well-being. The life-long friendships among our community members are a testimony to the “Primavera Difference.” My love and gratitude for the Primavera community is enormous, and the memories of those years are precious. "We learned of Primavera School at the recommendation of a friend. Our firstborn was 3 years old and we were looking for a preschool that wasn’t a daycare. I loved the balance of hands on learning, structured play, and outdoor exploration that Primavera offered. We thought we would only stay for preschool and pre-K then go to public school. But as we fell in love with the staff and environment there we chose to stay. All three of my children went to Primavera from 3 years old until the end of elementary school. Each of my boys developed a love of learning and such a special connection to Primavera School that they still bring up memories that they remember now in their teen years.
