How to Apply

Open enrollment for 2022-2023 school year begins in February.

The first step to enrollment is to set up a meeting and tour with the Director by calling or emailing director@primaveraschool.org. Enrollment for the start of each school year which begins the first week in August opens to returning families in mid January to re enroll their child/children. Open enrollment for new families begins the first week in February and remains open until classes are filled. Wait lists are created as soon as classrooms are filled with registered students. Siblings of current students get priority enrollment and are moved to the top of any waitlists.

There are 3 main enrollment periods for the Preschool: August, January, and June. August is the main start of our program, although we offer a summer program for June and July for currently enrolled students, or students that have registered to start in August. However, if there is a space that is open, we may be able to accommodate students throughout the school year.

Requirements

  • A parent tour to learn about the school and its mission.
  • A completed enrollment form, Emergency Information and Immunization Card, a student medical release form, private school affidavit (Primary School only), and permission slip.
  • An up to date immunization record or signed Exemption certificate.
  • For students who have completed Kindergarten on up, a signed release for previous student records.
  • A non-refundable $75.00 one time registration fee.
  • A non-refundable $100.00 tuition deposit, applied to August’s tuition.

Important Timelines

  • Preschool: children must be 3 years old and potty-trained upon enrollment.
  • Transitional Kindergarten: children must be 5 years old by December 31st.
  • Kindergarten: children must be 5 years old by September 1st.
  • Any exceptions to this rule will require further assessments by the Director or the classroom teachers during the admissions visit.

Qualified applicants for whom no space is available will be placed on a wait list for one year.

A class visit is required for all new students. Please email applications to director@primaveraschool.org or drop off at the office.

Scholarship Information

ORME PRIMAVERA SCHOLARSHIP & FINANCIAL AID ASSISTANCE

Each year, approximately 80% of Primavera elementary students receive some form of tuition assistance from Student Tuition Organizations (STOs) or state funded Empowerment Scholarships (ESAs).

Primavera School and Orme School have partnered to form the Orme Primavera Schools Foundation which provides scholarships from state tax credit donations to enrolled students at each school. Applications for scholarship assistance from the Orme Primavera Schools Foundation are awarded on a yearly basis to children entering Kindergarten through 5th grade. Scholarship applications should be submitted at the same time as your child's admission application.

Orme Primavera Schools Foundation applications are due April 15th or the tax day of each year. All applications must include the previous year’s tax return and other pertinent household and financial information.

The Orme Primavera Board of Directors meet after April 15th to discuss the merit of the applications. Families are informed no later than June 1st o the amount of cholarship awarded It is our heartfelt desire to assist deserving students in receiving an exceptional education at Primavera School.

Orme Primavera Scholarship Application

Private tax credit donations for the purpose of scholarship assistance are gratefully accepted throughout the year. That money is added to the Orme Primavera Schools Foundation tax credit money and will be distributed in full to deserving scholarship students. Please select Primavera School to be the recipient of the tax credit donation. More information on tax credits with our school.

Orme Primavera Schools Foundation does not allow student recommendations but some Student Tuition Organizations (STOs) do.

OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

You should also be aware that other Student Tuition Organizations (STOs) in the state of Arizona will award private school scholarships to Primavera students who apply to their organizations. You will want to apply for multiple scholarships to cover all or most of the Primavera School tuition every year. Some STOs accept student recommendations from tax credit donations given from family members and friends outside of the students household.
