Field of Dreams
Primavera had unused open space behind the school that is now being put to good use as a functional multi-use playground for present and future generations of children at the school.
The “Field of Dreams” is used on a daily basis for recess, physical education classes, and organized ball games such as soccer, baseball, and football games.
The open space will be used in the future for school gatherings throughout the year such as our “Back-to-School Barbecue,” “Jump Rope for the Heart,” “Field Day,” and “the Shakespeare Pageant.”
A Big Project
Thanks to Asphalt Paving for providing us with boulders and fill dirt from the Copper Basin Project. Pro Water Irrigation generously donated labor and some materials for an irrigation system, topsoil, grass seed, and daily monitoring of the seeding process. They continue to maintain the Field all year long! The fence was installed by ABC Fencing.
Ongoing contributors of $50.00 to the Field of Dreams will be eligible to request a brick, suitably engraved with the name of your child or family. The brick will be placed in the pathway to our “Field of Dreams,” as a long-lasting tribute to your child and to your generosity.
Your Help is Needed
We need everyone to contribute to our “Field of Dreams.” At this time we need donations to purchase sports equipment such as balls, nets, hula hoops, and other fun playthings for the children. To donate to the “Field of Dreams,” please contact Carol Darrow at Primavera School, (928) 445-5382, or by e-mail pprimaveraschool@qwestoffice.net
Cash or in-kind donations will be gratefully accepted!
